1. What we collect
Name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, email, and your address (postal code, block, unit). For business accounts, your UEN and optional operating address. We also store your review history, listing content, and chat messages.
2. Address verification — your bill photo never leaves your device
When you verify an individual address, you photograph the top portion of your utility bill. That photo is processed entirely on your device using on-device text recognition — it is never uploaded to our servers, and we never store it. Only the pass/fail result and the address you typed are submitted.
3. Why we collect your address
Solely to confirm you genuinely live in the estate/town you claim, and to calculate distance for the Browse radius feature. Your exact address is never shown to other users — listings only ever show a general area or, for business sellers, their public registered address.
4. Chat messages
Messages are retained for as long as your account exists, so there's a record if a dispute ever needs one. They are permanently deleted only when your account itself is permanently deleted (see below).
5. Account deletion
Deleting your account starts a 90-day period during which your data is retained but your listings are taken offline immediately. You can log back in any time within those 90 days and reinstate your account with one tap. After 90 days with no reinstatement, your account and all associated data — listings, chat messages, and photos — are permanently deleted.
6. Who can see your information
Your name, verification badge, and review history are visible to other users. Your mobile number, email, exact address, and date of birth are never shown to other users.
7. Notifications
If you enable message notifications, your browser registers a push subscription with our notification provider (Ably) solely to deliver new-message alerts to you. Turning the toggle off removes that subscription.
